Leeds owner Massimo Cellino is up to his old tricks with reason for not offering job to Steve Head

"I think at this moment the club is not managed by anybody," Cellino said last year.

"I send a letter to Brian - help us. He's on holiday to get some rest." And it looks like Steve Head has suffered a similar fate after he revealed his plans for a holiday. Head was set to begin his job as Leeds' head of recruitment this week but Cellino has put the kibosh on that when he found out that the former Norwich scout had planned a break. "I spoke with 25 potential candidates, I talked with a lot of people and Steve Head was one of them," said the Leeds owner and chairman. "He said he had to go on holiday, so I have to look for someone else. I could not wait for him. I did not hire him and so I did not fire him. "I don't need to justify myself. I need to finish the team and this is the most important time to do that. "I have just come back to the club and I am in a rush to do things." H/t to DailyMirror
