The channel officially launches after rebranding from BT Sport
Laura Woods has been confirmed as the lead presenter for TNT Sports’ coverage of the Champions League.
The channel, which has rebranded from BT Sport, officially launched today (July 18) confirmed Woods would be leading their coverage alongside Lynsey Hipgrave, who will present on Premier League games, and Reshmin Chowdhury, who will anchor Europa League fixtures.
Jules Breach will also be taking over as the new touchline reporter for games, replacing Des Kelly.
TNT’s other big addition will be AllyMcCoist as a co-commentator while Darren Fletcher and Adam Summerton will continue as the broadcaster’s main commentators.

Laura Woods to front Champions League coverage on TNT Sports
Rio Ferdinand, Peter Crouch and Joe Cole, Rachel Brown-Finnis, Owen Hargreaves, Steve McManaman, Joleon Lescott, Michael Owen, Paul Scholes, Robbie Savage and more will be part of the TNT Sports punditry line up.
As for other sports, Orla Chennaoui, currently fronting Eurosport’s Tour de France coverage, will join as a rugby union presenter and the former Blue Peter presenter Radzi Chinyanganya, snooker anchor on Eurosport, who will work across multiple sports. Stuart Hogg, the recently retired Scotland stars, joins the rugby union punditry team.
Andrew Georgiou, the president and managing director of Warner Bros Discovery Sports Europe, said: “We do want to be contemporary, we do want to be bold, we definitely want to push the boundaries of what sports broadcasting has been in this market over the previous years.
“It’s a really good opportunity for us to reflect on what’s happened and it’s almost like, ‘Okay, we’ve got a moment in time to refresh and rethink'”.
