Jordan Henderson is the new Liverpool club captain.
After over a decade under the leadership of Steven Gerrard, the Anfield outfit this morning announced the successor to the throne.
Gerrard gave Hendo his backing today whilst sticking the boot into Raheem Sterling in the process and it seems that Brendan Rodgers and the Liverpool hierarchy agreed.
Henderson was vice captain last season and wore the armband for large spells in the absence of Stevie G.
The midfielder has now been confirmed as the new captain.
When do we start calling him The Skipper?
