(We'll get our coats) A Facebook conversation descended into pun chaos as a group of giddy Kilkenny men used Irish and German players as the theme to discuss Shane Long's goal and a historic victory for the country. We like a pun as much as the next guy but one man took this social media interaction to a whole new level. It all started with a simple status and one tiny, innocent pun. Then, the first feeler was sent out. A dodgy one at that. But Walsh recovered with a brilliant reference to an albeit injured player. This is thinking outside the box. Then good, old Shane was in his element. Retro... Darren Randolph would be offended. Classic. The original status-writer has long since disappeared at this stage. Nice. Especially if you pronounce 'rice' as if you were from north Dublin. Trust her. The unsung hero even gets a mention. It's safe to say that these lads were in Kroos control all evening... Punreal.
