The knock-on effect of Manchester City's move for Kevin De Bruyne is being felt in Germany - and possibly North London.

Having just lost De Bruyne, Wolfsburg have acted quickly to bring in Julian Draxler - one of Germany's brightest talents. Draxler has long been tipped for a move to Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger said to be an admirer of the attacking midfielder. However, with an abundance of options emerging in that particular position, it's perhaps unsurprising that interest from the Emirates never materialised into a bid. soccer animated GIF The fee is said to be a new club record for Wolfsburg who have also agreed a deal for Bayern Munich's Brazilian defender, Dante. Draxler will be arriving in England later this month when his new side take on Manchester United in the Champions League group stages.
