Juventus, not Manchester United, are being investigated over Paul Pogba deal

Fifa have reportedly cleared Manchester United of any wrongdoing in relation to their signing of Paul Pogba last summer.

Pogba rejoined the Red Devils for an astonishing £89.3 million last year but eyebrows were raised about the role that the midfielder's agent, Mino Raiola, played in the deal. Last month, following reports of the ridiculous fee that Raiola was set to make from the deal (believed to be in the region of £41 million), Fifa announced that they were investigating the transfer. Fifa announced that they have, in fact, opened disciplinary proceedings against Juventus, the club from which Pogba joined. "We can confirm that disciplinary proceedings have been opened against Juventus FC," a Fifa spokesperson said, via ESPN. "We cannot comment further as proceedings are ongoing. "We can confirm that no disciplinary proceedings have been opened against Manchester United."
