Jurgen Klopp takes aim at Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson

Klopp has always been keen to voice his opinion

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has criticised Prime Minister Boris Johnson and former politician Nigel Farage, saying they shouldn't be trusted to 'lead any kind of group of people'. It is not the first time that the German has entered the political world with his opinion, previously condemning the government’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic. Klopp also praised Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford for his efforts and determination to ensure that free school meals were provided to financially struggling families throughout the pandemic and beyond. "I have to say at the last two elections, first with Donald Trump and Boris Johnson, that’s really a bad sign for the whole world that this can happen because everybody knew beforehand that it will not work but we still let it happen as a society and I cannot believe that.

"One is now gone and the other one struggles still. It’s incredible. It’s not a nice job as well, I have to say."

The former Dortmund boss' comments come in the same week that Conservative MP Natalie Elphicke has been accused of hypocrisy after it was revealed she had a second job - despite once suggesting England star Marcus Rashford should stick to his day job. Related links:
