Jurgen Klopp had the perfect response to a journalist asking about January transfers

Jurgen Klopp was on form at Melwood this afternoon.

The Liverpool boss was chatting with members of the press ahead of Liverpool's home tie against West Brom, on Sunday. With the January transfer window mere weeks away, the German was asked about potential targets. He gently rebuffed the first question but, once specific players were mentioned - Liverpool have been linked with German midfielder Kevin Grosskreutz - Klopp had a firmer response:

"I hope your company is not thinking about bringing two or three new guys for your job."

Daniel Sturridge is injured again, there were questions about the possibility of bringing a new striker in. Klopp scotched that though. He said, "We have Benteke, Origi, Firmino... it's a situation I can work with. "If we sign a new striker who can help us immediately then when Daniel's back we'll have problem of having too many players." On Ibe, Klopp said, "Jordon is better than three days ago. Yesterday we took him on to the pitch for a warm-up and some running to feel a bit better after his cold, although it was a little it more than that. "We’ll see how he is. But I think he’s available for the squad."
