Jose Mourinho will have more money that Pep Guardiola to spend this summer at Manchester United

Jose Mourinho may well be confirmed as Manchester United manager before the end of the season. And if he is, it's believed the Portuguese will have the biggest transfer kitty in Europe to play with this summer. And what fun he will have with it too. The Star is reporting this morning that the ex-Chelsea boss will be given more money than even Pep Guardiola to try and restore the fortunes of the once all-conquering Premier League side. Rumours circulated again on Sunday that the former Real Madrid coach will be announced as Louis van Gaal's successor before the F.A Cup final next month. And the newspaper today is suggesting the club have agreed that he will be given a purse of £300million to rejuvenate the current squad assembled by the Dutchman. The money could be used to tempt Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Old Trafford, who is averse to working with van Gaal again, after a falling out between both men several years ago. However, the Swede did feature for Mourinho at Inter Milan, and relations between both men are said to be close. Thomas Muller or even Neymar may also figure in any possible summer splurge, with the money likely to dwarf the expected £200million Guardiola will be handed at the Etihad this summer as he takes over at Manchester City. Some agents are going to be made even richer this summer it seems.
