Jose Mourinho has emerged as a favourite to return to one of his iconic former clubs.
Only joining Benfica in September, he is yet to lose a top-flight game in Portugal.
Despite this, "The Special One" could be set for a sensational return to none-other than the iconic Real Madrid dugout.
As per a breaking report from David Ornstein, he is the "preferred candidate" to take over in the summer.
Florentino Perez, the Madrid president, wants to make the final decision regarding the appointment, and Mourinho is number 1.
Spending three seasons with the Galacticos between 2010 and 2013, he guided the club to Copa del Rey and La Liga glory, in a period where Barcelona were renowned as legendary.
