José Mourinho returned to his old stomping ground Stamford Bridge this afternoon, hoping to take home a much needed three points.
The Manchester United manager has clearly been under pressure in recent weeks and his players needed a big performance to ease life at Old Trafford.
It was the home side though who took an early lead through Antonio Rüdiger after 20 minutes. The red men responded in kind through much maligned french forward Anthony Martial who scored a brace to put United ahead 2-1.
It looked as though Mourinho's side where going to hold on for a vital away win, until forgotten man Ross Barkley popped up with a 96th minute equaliser that salvaged a point for the Londoners.
Barkely's late goal prompted a huge reaction from the Chelsea bench, which in turn ignited a spark under a very clearly angry José Mourinho.

A melee ensued that carried on down the tunnel as both teams had to be separated. Speaking to BBC 5 Live, Mourinho addressed the touchline spat, claiming he was incensed by the behaviour of the Chelsea backroom staff following the goal.

The Portuguese manager also expressed his disappointment with the Chelsea fans who he thought treated him unfairly due to the success he garnered with the club.
