Joey Barton has a right to be annoyed.

The Burnley midfielder has enjoyed a wonderful season with the Championship winner Burnley, and this evening the club's players were granted their medals by the Football League at serious knees up by all accounts. Only there was one slight issue. https://twitter.com/SkySportsNewsHQ/status/729731183240564737?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw The club, bizarrely, did not have a medal to give to the former Manchester City midfielder, and he was a bit miffed. https://twitter.com/Joey7Barton/status/729732877752111104?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw We smelled a major meltdown from Barton via social media. He has been an ever-present for the club this season, and one of the key reason they have bounced back from last year's demotion so quickly. So what the hell happened? How could you forget a charming loudmouth like Joey? Well, weirdly, it was all his club's fault. awik But all's well that ends well. https://twitter.com/football_league/status/729747357005385729 Click snap
