Joey Barton is about to become a major issue for Brendan Rodgers

Life is never dull for Joey Barton.

The former Newcastle and Manchester City midfielder should have been settling in for a nice handy summer. Earlier today he was announced as one of TV3's new pundits for the Euros after a great season for Burnley. The combative midfielder was the club's outstanding player as Sean Dyche's side swept through the Championship. The BBC is reporting that Barton has agreed to join Rangers and will sign a two year deal with the Ibrox club in the coming 24 hours.
