Lionel Messi is magic. Scratch that, he's more than magic. More than supernatural.
And his goals tonight were simply sublime.
But... ah, Jerome.
The German defender was made to look a right mug as he opted to fall flat on his backside like a felled tree when Messi came running at him in the 80th minute at the Nou Camp to score Barcelona's second.
Instead of tackling one of the most deadly threats of all time, Boateng tried the old fall-on-your-arse trick instead.
It didn't work.
And no-one missed it.
Poor Jerome is going to be the brunt of a bad joke for a long, long time. And the good folk at Twitter hounded him out this evening after his embarrassment.
And to think that it all started so well for him.

Then Messi Gate happened. And he went into hiding.
