Republic of Ireland midfielder Jayson Molumby punched an opponent in today's pre-season friendly between West Brom and Mallorca.
The Waterford man was provoked by an opponent and reacted by striking his face before grappling him in a headlock while falling to the ground.
Teammates from both sides rushed towards the fight to de-escalate the tension.
Fans online have suggested that Molumby's frustrations bubbled over after the same Mallorca player committed repeated poor challenges on him and his West Brom teammates.
There's going to be a lot of fallout after this one.
