Roy Keane is, unsurprisingly, the first name on Jason McAteer's hypothetical teamsheet.
McAteer appeared on Sky Sports’ Fantasy Football Club on Friday night when he was asked to name the best XI of former Republic of Ireland teammates and he named the Cork-born former midfielder as the man around whom he was building his side.
There are a couple of givens, like Given for example. Robbie Keane, Damien Duff and Denis Irwin would also fit that criteria.

Big shouts are also on the agenda and "I think Gary Kelly was better than Gary Neville," is a sentence from McAteer that not everyone will agree with but credit to the former Liverpool player for sticking to his guns.
McAteer also tells a cracker of a story about USA '94 when Italy legend Franco Baresi rushed to get his hands on McGrath's jersey after their first group game in New Jersey.
Here's what the team looks like.
