The Premier League top scorer has risen to the top since joining Leicester from then non-league Fleetwood Town, and he still keeps in touch with some of his Cod Army team-mates.
“I like to look out for how my old teams are doing, and still keep in touch with some of the lads who were at Fleetwood when I was there," the England striker said in an interview with the League 1 club's website.
“As soon as we finish our games on a Saturday we get the scores up on the big screens and I always check for Fleetwood’s results.

Vardy is not the only striker to parlay a spell at Fleetwood into great notoriety.
