It didn't take long for one name to begin doing the rounds on social media as supporters identified the perfect man for the job.
Fans suggested that Crystal Palace talisman Wilfried Zaha would fit the bill.
Zaha was recently singled out for particular praise by Robbie Savage for the impact he's had on a Palace side that would have otherwise probably struggled this season.
He's pacy, he runs aggressively at defenders, he's full of energy and he can play in several positions. And Liverpool fans would only love for Zaha to prove himself at Anfield after struggling to make a significant impact at Manchester United as a youngster.
