Jamie Carragher has highlighted how Manchester United midfielder Casemiro looked unsuited to playing in Ruben Amorim's preferred system.
On Monday Night Football, Carragher did a deep-dive analysis of the Red Devils' 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town, Amorim's first match in charge.
The Portuguese coach likes to use a 3-4-2-1 formation, but several United players looked unsure playing in the system.
Carragher noted that Casemiro, in particular, looked uncomfortable carrying out his new manager's instructions.
The former Liverpool defender highlighted one moment from Sunday's Premier League game when Amorim left his technical area to urge Casemiro to press higher.
"This, again, is what he [Amorim] will like, but he still had to pass on instructions," Carragher said.
"Look at Casemiro. The manager wants him to lock on there but he doesn't feel comfortable.
"He's checking over his shoulder.
"He looks at the bench and at the manager, imploring Casemiro to go higher, be aggressive.
"Then what happens? This is where it works and what he wants. Jonny Evans has pushed. Mazraoui has pushed in. They got it wrong on the first clip, but this is them getting it right."

Following the match, Amorim said that he only had two days to prepare his new team, so the players may become more familiar with his system over the coming weeks and months.
The early signs for Casemiro, however, were not positive.
Amorim also said that Man United are 'going to suffer for a long period' before there are notable signs of improvement.
“We need a lot of time because it’s a tough league, we have to improve a lot to try to win the title," the former Sporting manager said.
“If you want to speak about the team and the way we play, we lose the ball too often. We have to be better at running back and we have to be very good in the details.
“It’s the small things, we have to improve the small things. Understanding the small things, I think is what I’m good at.”
