Carragher continued, 'It’s like the type of picture you put on your mantle piece in 10 years time. Your son comes in, "Oh what’s that? We won away at Man City".'
Carragher called on Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger to stamp the snap/tweet-happy culture out of his side. Gunners fans were quick to point out similar, over the top celebrations from his former Liverpool teammates after they beat Aston Villa 2-0 at the weekend. For the most part, though, Twitter raised 'Carra' on its collective shoulders for a lap of social media honour.
