Jamie Carragher defended his Team of the Year on Twitter and one reply in particular was glorious

Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher are a bit of a dream team when it comes to football punditry.

Since the pair has teamed up, Monday Night Football has been reinvented with viewers tuning in to watch the former England players take on some of the biggest talking points in football and comprehensively analyse key games. With the season coming to a close this Sunday, the pair picked their team of the season. Gary Neville’s team drew some criticism after he opted to include Thibaut Courtois over David de Gea in goal and only included one non-Tottenham or Chelsea player. Carragher, on the other hand, chose a more varied team, employing the 3-4-3 formation. And, on Tuesday morning he decided to take to twitter for a Q&A session about his team.
