Life is rarely quiet for James McClean.

The Ireland midfielder was involved in an almighty dust-up at The Hawthorns this afternoon as West Brom held off Watford to win 3-1. The Baggies were 2-1 up - after goals from Jonny Evans and Chris Brunt - when McClean went in for a robust challenge on Roberto Pereyra. The Hornets' midfielder, signed from Juventus over the summer, was further incensed when McClean booted the ball at him. He lashed out with a kick and just about every player on the pitch, and a good few on the sidelines, piled in. When the dust settled, the Argentine was given his marching orders while McClean was shown a yellow card. A divisive figure in the UK at the best of times, McClean's name was quickly trending for his part in the meleé.
