Parliament passed a vote on the matter by 397 votes to 223, and the first military action was launched within a matter of hours. It was met with criticism from many in the entertainment world, such as Little Mix and Skepta, and now it has emerged that one of football's most divisive figures has also had his say. We're a little late to this but James McClean, who's rarely afraid to make his feelings known about the British military, also called on the public to mourn the lives of the innocent Syrians likely to be impacted by the strikes... https://twitter.com/JamesMcC14/status/672361775690555392 Most footballers have stayed out of the conversation, but McClean is not the type to stay silent when it comes to such serious matters. Whether he has the support of everyone is another matter, though. Remember, this is a player who was booed by opposition fans for choosing not to wear a poppy.
