Bastian Schweinsteiger is fast becoming a fan favourite an Manchester United.

The German came to Old Trafford with open arms welcoming him at the gates. He departed his boyhood club in the most classy of ways, he's been putting in shifts for Louis van Gaal and he seems to be an all-round good guy. What's more is that, despite spending 17 years at Bayern, he has submersed himself in the United way of life. Then, after beating Liverpool, the World Cup-winner put out a deadly photo of him and his brother Tobias - along with alpine ski racer Felix Neureuther - celebrating the win in an empty Old Trafford. https://twitter.com/BSchweinsteiger/status/642784476960026624 Naturally, the picture melted the hearts of many a United fan the world over. But, even more naturally, the tweet provoked a string of strange responses. Some want a new father. https://twitter.com/MUFColin/status/642784522615005186 Others want to use Basti. https://twitter.com/JayStucchio/status/642784512548728832 Others want... well, whatever they're into. https://twitter.com/MemphisTekkers/status/642784612494757888 Some want him back. https://twitter.com/Happily_7/status/642784559801716737 Some want more from him. https://twitter.com/DinNisah/status/642785610671878144 Others want a reaction. https://twitter.com/KopiteSterling/status/642784569813544960 Or a ring. https://twitter.com/mich_h/status/642810656173854726 Or a new nickname. https://twitter.com/minou_flliper/status/642789324984045572 But, mostly, United fans were just buzzing. https://twitter.com/IsItSafeYet/status/642794842637123584
