This is what a gentleman's agreement looks like.
With Sweden and Portugal's Euro U21 championship group game reaching its conclusion, the game was locked at 1-1. With Italy beating England 3-1, the two sides knew that a draw would see them both progress to the semi-finals.
The managers and players of both teams have obviously been glued to the retrospective coverage of Ireland's exploits at Italia 90, because they did their best impression of the famously low-key finale to the 1-1 draw with the Netherlands, where both teams agreed not to score on the other.

On a semi-related note, Gareth Southgate's England side exit at the group stage with two losses from three games despite fielding a very talented side. And the former Middlesbrough boss is thought to be Roy Hodgson's likely successor as senior coach.
