Whether it's €50 million or €80 million or, more likely, something in between, we can all agree that Manchester United have paid a boatload of money for Anthony Martial

Pacy. Unproven. Excellent control. Not the finished article in front of goal. Only 19, but has shown enough in Ligue 1 to believe he will be a real talent if he can develop. The above describes new United forward Martial, but if Liverpool fans think they've heard something similar, it's because that's how Divock Origi was explained to the many Liverpool fans itching to get information on their own recent arrival. Origi's performances for Lille earned him a place in L'Equipe's worst team of last season, so you'd expect Martial to have substantially outperformed the Belgian World Cup star given United have paid up to six times as much for the French teenager... graphic
