Irishman who managed Diouf accuses him of lying over Steven Gerrard racism claims

El Hadji Diouf's lawyers might have their work cut out for them.

The Senegalese forward made an astonishing claim earlier this week against former teammate Steven Gerrard, accusing the Liverpool legend of being a racist. "It’s common knowledge. Gerrard has never liked black people," the former Liverpool, Bolton and Rangers player said. "When I was at Liverpool, I showed him I was black, that I wasn't English, but that I'm no pushover. All the time I was there, he never dared looked me in the eye." Gerrard has sought legal advice over the claims, and now George O'Callaghan, the former Cork City forward, has accused Diouf of fabricating the story.
