We can all be thankful that Steven Gerrard's announced departure from Liverpool has saved us all six months debating his future.

The only problem is that it has replaced that frankly tiresome topic with six months of sugar-sweet tributes and over-the-top swansongs for the Anfield skipper. Perfect timing, then, from the folks at FM104's Strawberry Alarm Clock, who have been quick to lampoon the whole business.
