The Hull City midfielder was at fault for his side falling behind in Tuesday night's FA Cup fifth round replay against Arsenal.
Olivier Giroud couldn't believe his luck when an ill-advised Meyler pass arrived at his feet in the Tigers box.
Meyler, who has 14 caps for the Republic of Ireland, didn't look carefully enough across his back four as he played a suicidal pass into the box to be cleared.
Cleared it was not.
Giroud was unsurprisingly first to it and slipped it under Eldin Jakupovic to give the Gunners a 1-0 advantage.
Facepalm!
