Savour it lads, you've earned it.

For any rock dwellers out there who have emerged from under their chosen igneous abode (only a fool would choose sedimentary) and are unaware of what happened in Lille last night. Ireland have only gone and beaten Italy to secure their place in the knockout stages of Euro 2016. Robbie Brady finished the winner by making a sensational run before nodding home a stunning assist from Wes Hoolahan. The truth is though, that no matter what L'Equipe might think, the Boys In Green played their hearts out and fully deserved their first win at major tournament since that 3-0 win over Saudi Arabia 14 years ago. Footage has emerged from inside the Republic of Ireland team bus following the win showing that the Boys In Green were in full celebration mode on a memorable night in France. Why not?
