There's an unwritten rule in football that you have to possess the talent to pull off a certain pair of football boots. If you're useless, they'll only continue to draw attention to your uselessness.
Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't have that problem. As one of the most marketable sportsmen on the planet, Ronaldo has spent years flaunting the latest fashionable boots. The Real Madrid forward can wear boots in the knowledge that he will undoubtedly generate a ton of money for Nike, with thousands and thousands of impressionable pre-teens pressuring their parents to bankroll their latest obsession.
Ronaldo's latest pair are likely to be no different. Nike have teamed up with former Louis Vuitton designer Kim Jones to deliver a simply spectacular pair of football boots.
Behold, the Nike Mercurial Superfly 360s.

A striking orange boot with a stylish cheetah pattern going on, it's hard to take your eyes off them.
Ronldo is set to debut the boots during Real Madrid's Champions League last-16 second leg clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, March 6th. The boots, in a rather shrewd marketing move, will be available from half-time in that game.
The exact price hasn't been revealed yet, but expect them to be north of £200. Keane wouldn't be caught dead in those things, but hey, they've worked fine for Ronaldo up to this point.
