Iker Casillas’ agent claims Real Madrid president “doesn’t like black people”

Iker Casillas' agent has launched an incredible parting shot at Florentino Perez.

The Spanish goalkeeper left Real Madrid last week, after making 710 appearances over 16 years in the first team, and 25 years at the club. Casillas was captain and had won every trophy possible, but his departure to Porto has been acrimonious. It appears Santos Marquez, the goalkeeper's agent, blames Perez for the ugly end to the player's Madrid career. Marquez has also claimed that the Real Madrid president "hasn't told a single truth in years", panders to Gareth Bale, at the expense of every other player, and "doesn't like black players." "For (Claude) Makelele, for a lack of respect. Florentino doesn't like black players; he's not a racist but he doesn't like them. I also fought with him over (Samuel) Eto'o. I said Samuel was just as much a galactico as (Luis) Figo. He left for the colour of his skin." Both Makelele and Eto'o were allowed to leave the Bernabeu during Perez's first stint as Madrid president, between 2000 and 2006, when the club deployed their infamous 'Galactico' policy. Madrid signed glamorous, well-known footballers, but failed to consistently win trophies. Since Perez came back into power in 2009, the club have followed a similar transfer policy, signing marketable stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodrguez and Gareth Bale. Marquez claims Bale is essentially untouchable, and Perez dictates he must play when fit. "The only clash he (Perez) had with (former coach Carlo) Ancelotti was over Bale. He thinks that Bale is the best in the world. He doesn't know how to take care of the Ballon d'Or winner which he already has in the squad. Bale is going to play wherever he likes." Marquez also claims that Ronaldo is potentially preparing to leave the Bernabeu. The Portuguese forward recently sold his image rights to Peter Lin, Valencia owner, "One day [Perez] will need to explain why Cristiano works for another company outside of Real Madrid. Imagine Cristiano generating €40 million elsewhere and giving it to Peter Lim, Valencia’s owner. It ends up in Valencia’s coffers and that’s deplorable. "Will anyone speak out and ask Florentino why Cristiano has sold his image rights to Peter Lim?
