Hull City striker was right to be shocked by ludicrous red card against Watford

This was a poor decision that could have proved very costly for Hull City.

Oumar Niasse received a very soft red card during Hull's game at home to Watford. Of course, referees don't have an easy job, and everyone makes mistakes, but Bobby Madley appeared to make a clear error here. Niasse, who is on-loan at the Tigers from Everton, went for a loose ball with Mbaye Niang. The Watford forward got there first, and Niasse made contact with his opponent's shin. It was a late challenge, but there appeared to be little contact, and definitely not enough for a red card. However, Madley sent Niasse off, much to the shock of the striker, his teammates, his manager and the Hull fans.
