Hull City fan explains himself and what happened during confrontation with Richard Keogh

He hasn't just let himself down, he's let his family down, and his club. He's let football down.
At least that's sort of how Adam Pardoe apologised for his coming-together with Richard Keogh after Hull advanced to the playoff finals on Tuesday night. Derby won the second leg 2-0 but it wasn't enough and their season was ended and, as a dejected Keogh made his way to the changing rooms, he was confronted with a gloating Hull fan. https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/732829918418075648 Alan Pardoe, who the Hull Daily Mail reports to have served two stints in prison for attacking two pensioners in their homes, has come out and explained what happened during that heated moment at the end of the match."I went to the game with some friends and had a few drinks," Pardoe told the Mail. "After the game, myself and everyone else went onto the pitch to celebrate. "I saw Keogh and I said, 'Enjoy your next season in the Championship'. He was obviously agitated with that and there was an exchange of words. "I was stupid in even saying anything. It was in the heat of the moment and I am extremely sorry. I know it's not acceptable. "I have badly let down my family and the club."We're sure this is the last time he'll offend.
