Victor Valdes may actually be about to make some bit of an impact at Manchester United.
The Spanish stopper, who has been frozen out by Louis van Gaal, could play a role in Pedro's proposed transfer to Old Trafford as the Barcelona winger is reportedly reconsidering the move because of the treatment of his close friend and former teammate.
The Guardian report that Pedro, whose departure from Barca looked imminent, is not a fan of how Van Gaal publicly claimed that Valdes had a poor attitude and would be for sale this summer.
Van Gaal's dropping of David de Gea is also thought to be on the mind of United's €30 million target and the Dutchman's tendency to air his grievances about his players may lead to Pedro's decision to go elsewhere.
