How Ryan Giggs could benefit if Chris Coleman is appointed Hull City manager

Ryan Giggs will be monitoring Hull's managerial search closely.

The Manchester United legend is looking for his first permanent job in management and it could arrive sooner rather than later depending on whether or not the Tigers appoint Chris Coleman, one of the favourites for the job. Ahead of the club's return to the Premier League, Hull want current Wales boss Coleman to replace Steve Bruce in the KC Stadium hot seat. And if a deal can be agreed with Coleman, who guided Wales to the semi-finals of their first ever European Championships this summer, it's being reported that Giggs could be shown of a vote of confidence by the country for which he made 64 appearances. The Daily Mirror are reporting that Giggs is top of the list of candidates to fill the void that could potentially be left by Coleman if he takes Hull up on their rumoured offer to more than triple his wages. If, and it's a big if, Coleman is lured back to club management, Giggs could get the wish he outlined when he ended his association with Manchester United last month. The former winger claimed that management "is where I want to be" in a statement released when he left Old Trafford, after serving as Louis van Gaal's second-in-command for two seasons. And what better way to start off than by taking charge of the Dragons?
