Henrik Larsson was unveiled at a press conference today as the new Helsingborgs IF manager after his departure from Falkenbergs earlier this morning.
Larsson will take on a squad that includes his son Jordan, who only joined Helsingborgs from Hogaborg in July.
Speaking at his unveiling, Larsson said. "It's important to see the difference between Jordan the player and Henrik the dad. In my way of seeing things one should work for Helsingborgs' best interests."
Larsson previously coached Helsingborgs' biggest rivals Landskrona in his first managerial job but quit after three years without success.
He joins the club he made his name with after guiding Falkenbergs to safety in the Allsvenskan last season.
