Harry Kane could be set to return to the Premier League after his cut-price release clause is revealed.
Kane is enjoying his second season at Bayern Munich following a club-record move from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 31-year-old is in his prime in the Bundesliga, scoring 44 times in his debut season across all competitions.
Earlier this season he became the fastest player to reach 50 Bundesliga goals, breaking the record previously held by Erling Haaland.
Kane departed England in search of trophies as major honours have eluded him throughout his career so far but despite his fine form last term Bayern experienced a rare trophyless season.
Though it is likely the England captain, who is under contract until 2027, will want to stay in Germany a little longer, an opportunity for him to return to the premier League has been revealed.
A club could've triggered a release clause in the January transfer window that would have allowed him to leave the Allianz Arena for around €80million (£67m).
Kane has unfinished business in England as he was on track to beat the Premier League goalscoring record.
Kane currently has 213 Premier League goals to his name, just 47 behind Alan Shearer who currently holds the record.
Prior to leaving for Germany, Kane teased that he had time to return to break the record.
He said: "People will talk about the record and Shearer, but I've got plenty of football left in my career. For now, it's about trying to achieve things here and trying to push myself and the team to try and reach new levels with this club. That's all my focus is on right now."

Whilst that deadline has now passed another release clause will be valid in 12 months time at an even more reduced rate as Bild reports it could be as low as €65m (£54m).
