The Espanyol 'keeper obviously thought anyone with feet would be a decent target for him as he attempted to get an attack going from his own box.
But rather than kick it to a teammate (which is so out of fashion) he played it right to the disbelieving boots of Sociedad's Sergio Canales who found himself in position to score the only goal of the game.
