As we saw earlier, Bayern Munich are taking full advantage of the German winter break to get some sun on their backs in Qatar.
But it seems that it wasn't all love, palm trees and factor 50. Bild report that Arjen Robben was bitten by a crocodile while retrieving a ball from a lake near their training facility. Yes, really.
Robben is wearing a bandage on his left hand and he's is reported to have told the press, "When I got a ball from the hole by the pool, a crocodile bit me".
There are suggestions that the Dutchman was joking with the media, and he more than likely was, and that he actually injured his thumb in a weights session.
Of course, the main thing is that he is okay and as he is, then he really should stick to the crocodile story as it is much cooler than injuring yourself in the gym.
