The head of German football has resigned over claims that there was corruption at the heart of the process which awarded the 2006 World Cup to Germany.
Wolfgang Niersbach quit at DFB boss today, claiming he was 'taking political responsibility' for the crisis, which saw tax authorities raid DFB offices and residences of officials.
