As if Liverpool fans didn't love Jurgen Klopp enough.

The former Borussia Dortmund manager has captured the hearts of the red side of Liverpool for the passion that he has brought to the Anfield dugout and it's tough to see him falling out of favour with the Reds faithful any time soon. And Liverpool fans will be delighted to learn that Klopp had an affinity for the Merseyside club years before arriving. Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier celebrates winning the Worthington Cup Former Reds boss Gerard Houllier has revealed that the German has always been a Liverpool fan. "Jurgen has personality," Houllier told Express Sport. "I know Jurgen from Uefa meetings and he has always liked Liverpool. He had a passion for the club. Jurgen-klopp-celebrating "He was always talking about Liverpool; what we did, how we lived. I can tell you he was a true fan of Liverpool and he was following the results before going there. "In a way, he will bring something different. And the way he plays is a very modern way; high pressing, offensive football and quick transition."
