Gary Neville’s returning to Monday Night Football, but it won’t be the same as it used to be

After an unsuccessful stint in management, Gary Neville's coming back to the silver screen.

We missed Neville when he tried his hand at managing Valencia in La Liga, but Sky Sports have confirmed that he will return to Monday Night Football for the upcoming Premier League season. The former Red Devil confirmed in a Sky Sports press release announcing his return that he will be set for a slightly different role on MNF, allowing him more time to pursue other projects outside of broadcasting.

"I am delighted to be rejoining Sky Sports and can't wait for the start of the new football season, especially as there will be a variety of new programming on the channel. "It is important for me that my role will be slightly different, and I am looking forward to the challenge of working on some new, creative and exciting projects."
