Gary Neville pays Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool the highest compliment during Man City demolition

Jurgen Klopp has hardly had time to even find the ignition yet let alone start the machine but one of the game's finest pundit's is already impressed. Liverpool thumped City 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening in what was billed as a mammoth clash for the Reds and their new German boss is earning the team plaudits left, right and centre. Big challenges or not. Without even the privilege of dipping into the transfer market yet and making the team his own with new additions, Klopp has had to work with what Brendan Rodgers left behind and it's easy to see that he's not doing a half bad job. Three first half strikes in succession at the home of the Premier League favourites sent a message around England that the new man means business and Gary Neville was one of those who sat up and took notice. "The best performance I've seen from anyone in the past six or seven years was when Dortmund came here [to the Etihad]," Neville said. "There are signs of that from Liverpool today."
