Gareth Southgate has given a clear response after being asked about rumours of him being the next Manchester United manager.
For weeks now, there has been intense speculation about Erik ten Hag's future as United boss, with the Dutchman set to oversee the club's worst ever Premier League season.
Sunday's 1-0 defeat to Arsenal left the Red Devils eighth in the league, and was their 14th defeat of the season in the competition, a Premier League record for the club.
United sit three points behind Chelsea in seventh and are at very real risk of missing out on European football entirely for next season.
Recent performances have increased speculation about whether Ten Hag will still be in charge of the team at the start of next season, and England boss Gareth Southgate has emerged as the favourite to take over at Old Trafford.
There's uncertainty about whether Southgate will remain as England manager after this summer's Euros, and he's been connected with the United job alongside the likes of Thomas Tuchel, Roberto De Zerbi and Graham Potter.
However, he's made it clear he's had no conversations with anyone at United and is only focused on this summer with the Three Lions.
"The bookies can make their odds but it’s not a conversation that’s been had with me.
"I’ve got one thing to focus on and that’s having as successful a tournament with England as possible. Everything else outside of that is a complete irrelevance for me."
He was then asked if he would consider a return to club management after leaving England, having previously had a three-year spell as the Middlesbrough boss.
Southgate replied: "The bookies can make their odds but it’s not a conversation that’s been had with me.
"I’ve got one thing to focus on and that’s having as successful a tournament with England as possible. Everything else outside of that is a complete irrelevance for me."
