"Everyone at the club also wishes Chris all the very best in the future."Forrester established himself as one of the best players in Ireland during a three-year spell with St Patrick's Athletic. The 26-year-old earned a move to Peterborough in 2015 and excelled during his first two seasons with the League One club.

Forrester fell out of favour at Peterborough when they appointed Steve Evans last February. Evans favours a more direct style of play.
The Dubliner joined Aberdeen last summer but only made eight appearances for the Scottish club. He returns home after a difficult period in his personal life.
Hopefully Forrester doesn't fall out of the game completely, as he is a brilliant footballer.
