No, he's not being eyed up by the Joy Division tribute band, Freddy Rincon is wanted over some very serious crimes.

Interpol have announced that the ex-Real Madrid man Rincon is now wanted for questioning in relation to drugs and money laundering crimes in Panama. The 48-year-old former footballer has business and property interests in Panama which was purchased in partnership with Colombian cocaine kingpin Pablo Rayo Montano This isn’t the first time Rincon has had a brush with the law before. In 2007, he was arrested as part of a criminal investigation in Colombia and Panama, on suspicion of money laundering relating to the activities of Montano. Rincon played for Colombia at the 1994 World Cup, and also captained Corinthians when to their first World Club Cup title in 2000. Hat-tip to the Guardian
