This is brilliant, and awful

In 21 games between 2000 and 2001 for Newcastle, Argentinian striker Daniel Cordone scored just twice in the league and was quickly shipped back to Argentina after just one season. He then resumed his reasonably succesful career back home before retiring in 2007. However, at the weekend he made a bizarre reappearance in the world of football, playing (very unconvincingly) the part of Claudio Caniggia in a charity game. The former Argentinian international striker failed to show for the game so Cordone was drafted in, and he stuck on Caniggia's trademark headband to try and look the part. Unsurprisingly, he was quickly rumbled by the crowd but the organisers of the event maintain that it was indeed the former Atalanta star, and not the one time Newcastle flop.
