Felix Magath has a crazy suggestion to help get rid of 0-0 draws

We're not sure we are as sick of stultifying scoreless draws as Felix Magath, but this is definitely one way to stop teams parking the bus. The former Bayern Munich and Fulham manager has come up with the radical idea to penalise scoreless draws by awarding no points to teams that fail to score in league fixtures, offering an 'incentive' to teams to try and win games rather than digging in for a point. In his column in German newspaper Express, Magath writes: "There are other ways to reduce the boredom. If the teams do not want to win, then incentives need to be set so that they have to try to win. A change in the point award would be an idea. "For a 0-0 should no points are recorded in the table, that would be invigorating. "In other draws there will get a point, because the teams were instructed to score goals, rather than only pay attention to a stable defense. With victories there would still be three points."
