Ex-Liverpool player Ryan Babel went into full meltdown mode on Twitter last night

Liverpool fans will have not-too-fond memories of Ryan Babel.
The Dutch winger, now playing at Al Ain FC, scored just 22 times in his four years at Anfield and, being one of the first footballers to embrace Twitter, had found himself in trouble as early as 2011 for his postings on social media. But Babel took it a step too far last night when the 28-year-old posted a sexist message to one of his followers.
Babel had previously tweeted a short but suggestively critical tweet about Rafael Benitez which prompted the above response.
And the misogynistic message led to a full-on meltdown from the Dutchman who tried to backtrack before posting his personal phone number and telling his followers to text him if they had any qualms with what he said.
An apology has yet to appear on Babel's account, only a tease for some sort of explanation on Snapchat today.
Some people just shouldn't have social media, eh?
